Austin Woods Custom Furniture

The Austin Woods furniture design and manufacturing studio is located in an historic building in uptown Corpus Christi, Texas. Built in 1928 as a department store, the once grand building had suffered from neglect for nearly a decade before we started our restoration. We have left much of the original architectural detailing in tact, including the exterior parapet walls, decorative urns, the interior support columns, and wood floors while converting the former retail space into an open, airy work studio.

Austin Woods has been in business since 1985. Our studio and wood work shop are located in a restored vintage 20th century Spanish Colonial Revival building in uptown Corpus Christi, Texas. It is here where our experienced wood workers and furniture makers hand carve the fine details into each piece of custom built furniture.
